To All,

 

The Toronto Fire Combat Team recently returned from Las Vegas where we competed in the World Combat Challenge Championships held on Fremont Street in the heart of the old city. Competitors were there from the United States, Canada, Germany, Slovakia, and New Zealand.

 

Danielle Comolli, Rob McNamara, Dave Strauss, and Warren Moore proudly represented Toronto.

Danielle finished 5th overall in the female finals with a time of 2 minutes and 59 seconds. She also competed in the coed tandem race finishing 4th overall.

Dave finished 12th overall in the over 50 category with a personal best time of 2:49.

Dave and Rob competed in the over 50 tandem race and finished 7th in the world.

Warren ran a personal best of 2:05 ranking him 23rd in the over 40 category. He also ran an over 40 tandem race placing 12th in the world.
